Celebrate International Star Wars Day with FSO!

At FSO we don't forget our fans... Today, May 4, International Star Wars Day, we have prepared a surprise for you!

The musicians of the orchestra wanted to join together from their homes to perform one of the soundtracks that cannot be missing on every tour: 'Star Wars: The Cantina Band'.

This song has already become a classic at the end of each concert, causing the apotheosis of the audience, who together with the orchestra rise from their seats clapping and dancing to the music in a true celebration.

With that intention, our director Constantino Martínez-Orts has chosen this theme with which we want to “send a message of encouragement to all FSO fans and of course, to the entire society, and thus join in the strong applause for all healthcare workers. . Because there's less left until we can meet again! “.

  1. Dear Constantino, Might I humbly present 2 pieces of music that would be suitable for arrangement for the FSO :- 1. The trap a film with Oliver Reed that is also used for the London Marathon Theme and 2. A piece of music used for a 26part TV documentary in the1950's called "Victory at Sea" by Richard Rodgers. It Has everything in it, a visit to the south seas islands, the menace of the U Boats, Great sea battles between the behemoths of the oceans(Destroyers, battleships, etc)mighty ships sadly sinking and the victorious aftermath of the battle. May I suggest you listen to both of them on the internet to see if they are suitable for arrangement for the FSO?
    Yours Very sincerely,
