The FSO concerts and the success of the Fénix Tour
The Film Symphony Orchestra returned to the stage in 2022 with its Phoenix Tour: an exciting show around the best film music, which represents the renaissance of life, art and culture.
This exciting show represented the resurgence of FSO, with which the audience that experienced it live was also reborn from its ashes, to get excited again, to enjoy and dream with the best music for live movies. FSO Fénix Tour 2022 has been the musical milestone of the year and, therefore, deserved this double CD that includes all the hits that the orchestra has performed in the best theaters and stages in Spain.
The soundtracks that can be heard on the Fénix CD
The film soundtracks have unquestionably been the stars of Gira Fénix, and they are now in this double CD. FSO's concerts on tour have had unforgettable moments, such as the performance of the soundtrack of Gladiator by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerard in Now We Are Free. But like the name itself tour indicates, it coincided with the premiere of Matrix Resurrections, with music created by Johnny Klimek and Tom Tykwer, appealing to “that rebirth and resurgence after the break and restrictions caused by the pandemic,” as our director, Constantino Martínez-Orts, explained.
This charismatic double CD of film music in concert also brings together other songs that will turn your living room upside down like a score created by great masters. With it, you can also enjoy classics like Prelude of the movie Ben Hur, created by the legendary Miklós Rózsa; he Chevaliers of Sangreal, by Hans Zimmer for The coI say Da Vinci; the suite of The Matrix, by Don Davis, or the suite room of The Untouchables by Eliot Ness, by the incontrovertible and unrepeatable Ennio Morricone.
