Our director visits the students of the Calasancio Hispalense school in Seville
Taking advantage of the #FSOTour performance this weekend in Seville, the musical director of the Film Symphony Orchestra, Constantino Martínez-Orts, shared a meeting with the Primary students of the Calasancio Hispalense Escolapios Emaús school, in which he was able to enjoy some songs that had been prepared by the students themselves and to dedicate a few words about the importance of musical education.
The FSO musical director visited the school one day before the concert in the capital of Seville, on November 8. There, the primary school students welcomed him with several musical performances that they had learned and they even assured that they were almost at the FSO level, the truth is that they are quite the artists.
The students had prepared several songs by the great John Williams for the FSO Tour such as Superman, Indiana Jones or Star Wars. Constantino Martínez-Orts, let them be in charge of the music this time and dedicated a few words to them. He reminded the children that the essence of music is emotion and that it also helps them develop their abilities. He has encouraged the little ones to continue making music and learning to play instruments.
